    At Palm Cove is Cairns’ only Zoo - Australia's best 'hands on" wildlife experience! Visitors enjoy the largest and most diverse collection of native and exotic wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. There is an interactive ‘CUDDLE A KOALA’ opportunity (extra cost applies that includes complimentary souvenir photo) .
    Twice daily show program features crocodiles, snakes, birds, red pandas, koalas. Hand feed tame kangaroos, see cassowaries, dingoes, wombats, birds, monkeys and more. Open daily 8.30am-5pm licensed cafe for breakfast and lunch.

    Australian Muster Experience

    Located in picturesque Whyanbeel Valley, just north of Port Douglas and set amongst the majestic Daintree mountains, lies a recreation of a traditional 19th century inspired Australian Outback Station Shed and home to The Australian Mustering Experience.

    Wide open spaces and a breathtaking backdrop of rainforest-clad mountains, sweeping valleys and views all the way to Port Douglas offering beautiful valley breezes - leave you with a greater appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness that is Tropical North Queensland!

    Be entertained by real Aussie stockmen as they portray the trials and tribulations of daily life for cattle station workers,demonstrating their skills in horse-riding, cattle mustering and whip cracking, accompanied by their dry outback humour.  Be amazed by working cattle dogs and meet an array of station animals.

    The Australian Muster Experience runs 3 days per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a lunch and dinner experience and includes transfers from Port Douglas, complimentary souvenir on arrival, the show and entertainment, a delicious barbecue and for those able, a mechanical bull ride.

    The lunch or dinner shows brings the Australian Outback to life!
